Gene Editors of the Future at the University of Westminster is an intensive eight-month training programme designed to shape the next generation of genetic scientists.
Starting with online theory and introductory labs back in November 2025, the course has just transitioned into its advanced, fully hands-on stage this year.
Running throughout the summer, the programme is now in its fifth iteration.
Westminster Waves reporter Ribana Cristescu caught up with some of the students on the course to get their feedback on the journey so far.
